I think that Mrs. Betsy Ross mad the American flag for George Washington.She is the right woman for the job.She got some needles,thread,paper,scissors,and the drawing.The reason why George Washington wanted a new flag because,people thought that he was surrender to the British colonist. so she had 2 weeks to finish the flag.So she went to work she cut out a 5 pointed star!She started sewing the strips of red and white for the strips.After that,she sewed all the pieces together and the U.S Flag was born.So that is why that I believe Betsy Ross made the American Flag.

He was a American Revolution man and patriot too.

He show brilliant ideas to defeat British.

He was a courageous man.

William Paca.

He died 58.

Not married before the war.

During the war,Paca was very active.

He would serve him as captain justice for U.S.A.

Pearl Harbor was attack on December 7,1941.

Emboldened by it’s alliance with Nazi Germany.

Harbor was in Oahu,Hawaii.

Arizona was a Battleship that sank during the attack.

Bricks are excellent for building.They are easy to make and you will need some clay,water,sand.Then add straw or animal hair to make it stronger.Women,children even slaves sometimes had to mix it with their bare feet.Can you believe that!Once it was ready,the mix was just packed into the wooden molds.The brick-makers hardest task is building in the hot fiery oven or kiln.The heat inside has to be even and constant.Then I placed the bricks on a rack.I sealed the kiln and tended to it around,about 6 days and 6 nights.The heat is around 2,000’F and 1,093’C.Pretty hot right?Then then bricklayers needed construction skills.For he dose not make bricks,but he made the mortar to bind them.He used a trowel to apply the mortar and a level to make sure that these walls were straight and sturdy.

My homecoming day is  to honor those Roughnecks.I love homecoming because I get to see the faces that been gone for 3 years or more.I love the Band marching crowds cheering and the Parade and floats too!Homecoming is a warm feeling inside to welcome those we honor.So that’s what the homecoming day feels once every 3 years Excitement,because its a special day today. 

Fifth grade is fun and fast.I switch to 5 classes everyday.I have Social Studies,Math, Reading,Math/Languages Arts,and Science.Social Studies is studying maps and States.Math is multiplying decimals.Reading is fun because of different reading words.Math is 3 days 2 days for languages art,its so fun we do different games to help us.Then science,we do  Experiments with new things.So fifth grade is cool and fun.

The colony I would be in will be Jamestown.Because they were the first to step foot in North America.They were all males no female.Then a Terrible brutal winter storm many people died.They grew tobacco in 1612,they sold a lot of it.Jamestown was rich,then the tobacco farmers stopped.
